What To Plant In June

If you have a garden you might want to read this article and get an idea of what crops you can still plant in June. The advice is aimed at zones 4 through 6 and covers quite a few different vegetables that can still be put out now.

What To Plant In June

By now the peas and radishes and for some spinach are probably just about done. So you now have some space where you can add some more veggies to keep reaping fresh home grown produce. This article is from Our Stony Acres and they cover everything from summer to cool weather crops and even root crops , so you will surely  find something to fill in those empty spaces. I love spinach but it bolts as soon as it get hot so I always have that space in my garden and the peas stop producing pretty early as well. While I use the  cut and come again method for kale, which really helps to keep it from bolting so I have it all the way through late fall, you can see how in Kale Plant Once Harvest Spring To Fall.  Going through the list of things that can still be planted I see I can fill up the empty spaces and make good use of all of my gardening space.
