From Wool Sweater To Felted Wool Boots

This is a fantastic tutorial on taking an old wool sweater and repurposing it into some wool boots. I love the way he felted the boots with the tree design on them. They turned out very beautiful and these would be a totally awesome gift idea that you could make in any size and felt them for any gender for a truly one of a kind gift that would cost very little money and really show you care.

I am adding a video below to show how you needle felt embellishment to wool so you can get an idea of how to add your felting. There are many videos and tutorials on youtube and the net that you can look at for guidance on felting wool. Mystic Orb Talisman shares the instructions for making the awesome boots. He even coated the bottoms with rubber so they won’t wear out on the bottoms. They turned out beautifully.
