For folks that like to crochet. If you use crocheted squares and most people do if they make an afghan check out this tutorial for making a crocheted square holder. This holder will keep your squares neat and tidy and it will also block them. If you don’t know what blocking is read on to find out.

The squares holder and or blocking station as it is called by Look At What I Made is a neat way to keep and prep you squares or when you are ready to put them together. In the tutorial you will see how to make this holder which is an 8 and a half-inch square. You could make one in what ever size you plan to make your squares. Or you could make some in different sizes if you use different size squares for different projects. I know some folks make baby blankets with squares and they are usually a smaller square. This one was made with things she hand on hand so really didn’t cost much and can be disassembled when not in use. I had never heard of blocking squares but she provides a link to a very through explanation and it makes perfect sense once I read it.
