Vinegar Candy
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of vinegar
2 Tablespoons of butter
Put the butter into the pan. When melted, add sugar and vinegar. Stir
until the sugar is dissolved, then only stir occasionally. Boil until
mixture when dropped in cold water is brittle. Pour in a buttered
platter to cool. When it is cool enough to handle pull and cut same as molasses candy
