Peas are the first vegetable you will plant in the spring. Long before you start sowing indoor seeds and before the last frost. When your soil is workable, usually around 40 degrees that is the time to get your peas in the ground so you can reap a good harvest before the warmer temperatures come because peas are pretty much done when the temps start hitting 70 to 75. Organic gardening has a lot of info on pea planting and I am including a video from Ehow on how to inoculate your pea seeds when planting to ensure a good crop of peas.
