Homemade Vegetable Bouillon Powder
If you use a lot of bouillon in your cooking you may wish to make your own for two reasons. One reason is that you will control what is in it and what is not. The other reason is that in the long run it will save you money. The ones you buy from the store sometimes have msg in them and a lot of folks are allergic or have reactions to msg.
This recipe calls for nutritional yeast which has some vitamins and others are added, nicain (B3), pyridoxine HCl (B6), riboflavin (B2), thiamin HCl (B1), folic acid, and vitamin B12, which is why a lot of vegetarian and vegan folks use it because they don’t get enough B12 from their diet. So making your own bouillon with this recipe will add a small amount of nutritional value to your dishes as well.
