Honestly, I love this project of upgrading a plain door into a vintage homestead looking door but it led to a secondary bonus idea of how to use this do it yourself project. I adore vintage door headboards that are turned horizontally and hung upon the wall behind a bed. Now I can envision my husband and I creating a headboard ourselves.
