Are You Prepared for a Water Emergency Chemical Spill West Virginia

The Organic Prepper website shares an article addressing the very important subject of water storage in an emergency situation.

300,000 residents in nine counties were told not drink their tap water, use it to bathe, wash dishes or clothes after a foaming agent used in coal processing escaped from a Freedom Industries plant in Charleston and seeped into the Elk River. The only allowed use of the water is for flushing toilets.

Is your family prepared with enough water stored if a disaster happened in you area or would you find yourself rushing to the store along with thousands of other people trying to buy any water you could get your hands on ?

I wonder what event will have to happen before the majority of people decide that it is worth it to put time, energy and money into emergency preparedness supplies? How many lives lost ?
