If you need or want a new bathing suit bottom for this summer or a few new one and you like the classier look of the vintage high-waisted ones this is where you can learn how to make your own and save. Use these instructions and pattern and make multiples. Make a bottom to match each of your tops or make both bottom and top in sets or mix and match prints and colors to really expand your swim wear. I like the higher waist bottom but who shares the instructions and patterns on Instructables also shows how you can leave elastic out of the top if you want and then you can either wear the bottom high-waisted or folded over for a smaller bottom. This would save a lot if you want multiple bottoms .
