Food Storage & SkillsSoup Mix for the Pantry

Soup Mix for the Pantry

Make this soup mix for the pantry and you will only need to add your choice of ground meat if desired, water and canned tomatoes to have a huge pot of healthy delicious soup.

You can put this on your pantry shelves and know that you have all the makings ready to go when you want to make the soup. You could also gift jars to neighbors, friends and family.

There is something special about making homemade things and to use them as gifts for family members and close friends on special occasions. This soup sounds delicious and if you are vegetarian you could tweak the bouillon and leave the meat out , it would still be nice and filling.

The only thing I would change would be to replace the brown rice with more white rice. I would be storing the soup in the pantry and brown rice doesn’t have a long storage life because it will go rancid.

This DIY project was designed to introduce the reader to a very unique homemade soup mix. This delicious soup mix in a jar is from, Pooky and the Geek.
