I like square foot gardening, it helps to get the maximum yield from your garden. Not many weeds grow in it. The soil is never walked on so it doesn’t get compacted and it is easy to put a hoop cover over to get an early start and a longer finish to the growing season. The bed can be built in all different ways. You can build a basic square or rectangular bed or one that has different levels like this one from the creator of square foot gardening. I think it would look nice in any body’s yard.
