Get the following supplies: silicone mold, three tablespoons of Vicks Vapor rub, a cup of cornstarch, 6 tablespoons of water, and blue/green soap colorant.

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, add the cornstarch, vapor rub, and four tablespoons of water. Stir well. Add more water until a thick paste starts to come out. Then, give 3-4 drops of blue and green soap colorants (if you want) into the mix and stir until it becomes the right shade of color you want.

Move the vapor rub paste into the silicone molds, filling up to the top.

Afterwards, freeze them for at least 2 hours to allow it to harden.

Once frozen, put each bar into an airtight jar or a Ziplock bag; take one out when you are ready to use them.

When you do use one, put one rub melt on the shower floor and let the hot water to run over it. This opens the vapors to make a steam in the shower that will come up from under to was any congestion or cold. These are creative cold killers that are always handy when cold and flu season arrives.
