Do you have a survival backpack ready? If so or if not, do you know where you would go if you have to leave your home?
I hear people say I will just go in the woods and eat rabbits. Well it sounds ok but what if its the middle of winter, and do you have kids? Do you really want them to be in the woods in the winter with no shelter.
As for the rabbits that you plan to eat, do you have any idea how many other people think the same way.
Rabbits are plentiful but they are no never ending commodity. They will become scarce quickly. Plan to just show up at someones house and expect them to provide for you.
If they are prepared they probably only had enough money by scraping by to manage to have preparations for their own immediate family. Then there are the folks that say well I have guns I will just take what I need. Got news for ya, preppers prepped and have guns as well.
Just things to think about, you never know when you may have to walk away from your home with no idea when you can return. Look at the folks on the east coast. Many of them still have not been able to return to their homes.
