I love this idea from Living the Rustic Life for its sheer simplicity. I have seen freezers and fridges buried as root cellars among other diy ideas but this one is so simple and since most of us don’t have huge farms of produce to store I think one or two of these would do for a lot of folks and even people in the suburbs could have one or two in a back yard corner for any surplus root veggies their gardens produce.
