Green Giant Vegetables

You will need to make the Winter Wonderland Vegetable Log Cabin:

  • Six 8″- carrot logs (One for front, five for back)

  • Hard boiled egg Snowman  ( click here to read how to make )

  • Steamed or raw bunches of broccoli as edible bushes

  • Steamed artichokes are great green edible trees

  • Slices of raw red pepper for the front door

  • Sliced raw yams as stepping stone (pathway to front door)

  • Eight 5″- carrot logs (sides of lodge)

  • Steamed or raw bunches of cauliflower are edible snowy landscape

  • Steamed very small potatoes make wonderful pretend large rock boulders

  • Eight 3″- carrot logs  (front)

  • Eight  1   1/4″ – short spacer logs (by front door)

  • Four  1  1/2″ – carrot logs (to create side window opening)

  • Three 7″ -carrot log rafters

  • Sixteen 6″ – 7″  long stalks of celery (for roof)

  • Hollowed out red pepper to hold ranch dipping dressing

  • Thinly sliced turnips (for the window)

  • Strips of cream cheese as the mortar to fasten cucumbers and celery

  • Use toothpicks if necessary to firmly attach vegetable pieces.

  • Use bamboo skewers for stacking chimney mushrooms ” chimney stones.”
