151 Uses For Coconut Oil

From cooking to healing there are many many uses for coconut oil. I think one of my favorite is making homemade magic shell ice cream coating. You can make some by chopping up a cup of either dark or milk chocolate (your choice) adding it and a half cup of coconut oil to a double boiler and melting together. Once it has melted and you can stir it all together, pour it into a jar or even a covered bowl.

Then you can pour it over ice cream or slice and freeze fruit on sticks then once frozen dip into the magic shell. the coconut oil will remain liquid at room temperature but will solidify on contact with cold ice cream or fruit. Sliced bananas are really good with milk chocolate but a cocktail pick with a couple of raspberries are really good when you dip the frozen berries into dark chocolate magic shell.
