If you plan to grill on labor day check out this sauce for your grilling, delicious apple butter and fireball whiskey sauce for that fall apple flavor with a hint of cinnamon from the whiskey. Add in onion, garlic and a few other ingredients and this is a sauce everyone is sure to love. Baste the ribs as they cook for a super delicious change from your regular barbecue sauce.
I think even hot dogs would be great cooked in this sauce for another delicious change from chili dogs. Whats Cooking America shares this recipe and it is just in time for those last few barbecues before summer is over.I am looking at this sauce and thinking you could maybe even can some up to use with hot dogs inside over the winter.
I would probably leave out the olive oil if I was planning to can it but other than that I am fairly certain it would work. I am thinking this would even be good at a pork roast. Yummy pulled pork slathered in apple and cinnamon flavors sounds really good.
