It is cut into small pieces on the diagonal so it looks really different.

Served while still warm your family or guests will ask for this one over and over again. I like making thing in puff pastry, it just sort of makes a dish special. We have one that begins with pastry in the bottom of a cake pan, then a layer of browned breakfast sausage, 10 eggs beaten with fresh ground pepper poured over the sausage, grated cheese, we like cheddar or pepper jack and then the second layer of puff pastry is sealed around the edges egg wash bathed and baked at 350 till golden.

This is a great dish for Sunday mornings or when you have over night guests that you would like to eat breakfast with instead of cooking while they eat. Just like Celia’s sandwich the puff pastry make it special. Both are really delicious and easy to make.
