Evaluating Soil Texture Test

Evaluating soil texture test will help a gardener to know what type of soil they have to grow in and what they need to add (an amendment) to achieve the best growing soil possible. A soil amendment is any material added to a soil to improve its physical properties, such as water retention, permeability, water infiltration, drainage, aeration and structure. The goal is to provide a better environment for roots.
