The Pavlova is a dessert named after the Russian Ballerina Anna Pavlova and is a meringue cake with a delicate cripys outside and a marsmallowy inside and fresh fruit and nuts on top. There is disagreement over weather it was invented by New Zeland or Australia but either way it looks delicious and easy to make. You can get the rcipe for Pavlova with strawberries and pistachios from SBS and watch the video from Joy Of Baking for a mixed fresh fruit pavlova. The first one tells us to set our ovens to 130c which is 250 F. Which ever you decide to make this seems a really good dessert recipe for summer time since it is light and fruity.
