If you know someone who loves steampunk here is a great Steampunk cold lights DIY project. This would make an awesome gift for someone. It would also make a nice addition to any other steampunk decor or even just a cool light especially at night. These are made out of brass lamp parts, emptied lightbulbs and other various items.

Leander Lavendel from Germany shares the tutorial for creating these awesome cold lights over on Instructables. I can see making these as a nice little side job for someone who is into this sort of crafting. I would buy on or more of these if I saw them at a market anywhere. I love the way they look.  I will add a video below that shows really well how you empty out a lightbulb. It is nice to know how because the emptied bulbs can be used for a lot of different diy projects.
