This Tiny House Homesteading Free Plans Tour Project will inspire you to think about downsizing and build your own small mobile dwelling.
People are getting into small houses, living in a minimalist state. It can be mobile and people drag it around attached to their pickup trucks. It does not have to be filled with all power cords and have everything big, but something as simple as one feels like they need. So, people are coming up with their tiny house projects and building them on flatbeds.
This small residence is built within a trailer that is two-feet long and 8-foot, six-inches wide. With the roof overhangs, it’s a little bit wider than the ground level. The tiny house was built as a great place to stay while camping like living in a cabin. When one goes inside the house, past its 32″ 2×4 framed exterior, you will face the foldout small mattress for guests in what is an open area. The bedroom is next door, featuring a queen size mattress and storage drawers underneath. Walking to the other side, you find the mini kitchen and bathroom. There is enough room for a fridge, stove, and sink; the shower is small just for one to stand as well as the toilet across from it. Basically, it’s a little bit bigger than an airplane’s toilet but with the extra amenity.
It’s a very pretty home that feels a bit modern even with its minimal base. Paint the exterior and it will stand out. It’s a very palatable project for the carpenters who like to make their own home and go out on the road.
