I bet you could bring down the cost of this project by using reclaimed wood from wood pallets if you sanded it to a smooth finish. Remember to look for “HT” stamped on wood pallets which means heat treated NOT chemically treated.

Because the spring and summer are such busy times on a homestead, a lot of building projects are completed in the winter months.
