Canning your own bacon bits, if you use a lot of bacon bits, why buy those little bitty jars when you can can your own. I see bacon on sale sometimes and I think in the long run if you can find a good sale price it would be less expensive to can your own bacon bits than buying the little jars. Rural revolution tells us how to put the bacon bits up so when we see it on sale we can do that and then when it is not on sale we will have the bits to use in recipes without having to go buy them or fry them up.
