Cilantro Lime Chicken With Zucchini Noodles

Make some cilantro lime chicken with zucchini noodles if you still got some zucchini from the garden, this is a great way to use all the extra zucchini and add vegetables to a dish instead of pasta.  If not you might want to buy some so you can make the zucchini noodles for this recipe. Delicious chicken with cilantro, lime, jalapeno and other spices cooked and stirred into sauteed zucchini noodles. This is one tasty dish. Very low in calories and carbs ( only 9 g of carbs per serving) so you can eat till you are totally stuffed and not feel guilty. I like to add sliced mushrooms to it when I make it and if you sprinkle it with sunflower seeds that little bit of crunchiness just adds to the whole experience. The first couple of times I made this I didn’t have the spiralizer to make the noodles. I did have the mandolin so I make ribbons. Kids didn’t want the zucchini that way.

So I bought the sprializer and they have never asked or commented on the noodles. I do peel all the green color off though. I think they just figure its noodles. It tastes the same but you they are kids and I guess visually the ribbons didn’t look like noodles. I Food Real shares this recipe. You can have this healthy low carb, low calorie meal on the table in under 30 minutes.
