Delicious Homemade Bacon Pound Cake

Calling all bacon lovers to check out this recipe for delicious homemade bacon pound cake. So many ways to use bacon now days. When i was growing up you had it for breakfast or on a BLT and on special occasions we might find a slice or two on top of the baked beans but that was pretty much it.

Now we have bacon in everything from candy to ice cream.  Too bad bacon has gotten to be so expensive. Maybe its because we are all wanting to eat it all the time lol. Making this bacon pound cake would make you feel like having bacon is a treat so I think it may be the perfect way to eat bacon aside from the breakfast plate.

Even better you could have pound cake for breakfast since it has bacon in it. A nice slice smeared with some really good butter and a cup of coffee sounds good at the moment.
