Make Your Own Frozen Rhodes Rolls

Someone asked for a frozen dinner roll recipe a week or so ago and so I went searching to see if I could find one. I did I found this recipe for making frozen Rhodes dinner rolls at home. With this recipe you can make the rolls and bake them the same day or make the dough into balls and then lay them on a baking sheet and freeze them, then put the frozen rolls in a zip lock freezer bag and pull out the amount you need and bake them when you need them.

This is a great way to have fresh-baked dinner rolls when you want them and you can make and store them up so you have them all the time. As you finish one bag you could make a new batch and replenish your freezer supply. The recipe for the bread dough calls for soy lecithin which I don’t use but it is just to prevent sticking and I replaced it with olive oil and they came out fine. Food Storage Made Easy shares this recipe. We also have a recipe for Homemade Biscuits that you can make up and freeze and then bake them as needed, you can even bake them frozen.
