Here is a wonderful tip for Mothers of daycare & grade school aged children. Anyone can come in contact and become infested with LICE and their eggs (nits) at any age but it seems younger children bring it home more often.
Put a 3 – 5 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil in every bottle of shampoo and conditioner each time you open a new bottle, then use at least once a week. Lice do not like the smell of tea tree oil and this will prevent them attatching to hair.
This tip could benefit: anyone who works, volunteers or goes to school where coats,sweaters are all hung in the same area.
I know some may say that my measures are a little much but after dealing with LICE in a household that had 7 people at the time…. I will do my best to never have to endure such a thing again.
