Chocolate Topped Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bar No-Bake Recipe
If you family likes snack bars or even cereal bars make chocolate topped peanut butter oatmeal bars instead. These would be a little healthier since they have both oats and peanut butter in them. You can cut them any size and then if you want them for lunch boxes, wrap each square in plastic wrap or aluminum foil or you could just pop them into baggies. What ever way you package them these are nice to make when it is hot and you don’t want to turn on the oven and when you don’t have a lot of time to bake.
These are made on the top of the stove and the longest part of the recipe is the waiting for them to cool so you can cut and eat them. Most of the ingredients you probably already have on hand so this is a great go to recipe when the sweet tooth hits. The recipe is shared by Simply Gloria, and she also has a couple of other recipes on the page that sound really yummy, especially the White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cups. If you like peanut butter these two recipe are sure to become new favorites at your house. The bars would be an easy recipe for when you need to take something along to a pot luck or a cook out and even a cookie exchange.
