This simple homemade cleaning dishwasher tablets recipe has the scrubbing power to remove grit and grime from dishes easily.
Supplies needed to make this recipe:
Arm and Hammer Washing Soda
Kosher Salt (the purpose is to reduce water spotting, if your water is soft you can use less)
Commercially sold dishwater detergent tabs can cost as much as 40 cents per load while homemade dishwasher detergent tabs, made with common ingredients found in your grocery store, can cost as little as 8 cents per load. Most commercial detergents at least 50% washing soda. It’s twice as strong as baking soda or borax or salt. Washing soda is a super water softener and shoots the cleaning power off the charts.
