Pastel Rainbow Cake Recipe
This cake with its pastel layers is the perfect cake to make for Easter or as a birthday cake. When I first saw it I thought an Easter cake to go with the colored eggs and it is perfect for that. I think it would be a great cake for a birthday too, for a kids party or even an adults birthday cake.

The soft colors are very pretty and it looks more unique that just plain layer cake. While the recipe makes an 8 inch square cake, you could double the recipe and make it a 9×13. This recipe is from Baked By Rachel and it gorgeous. The colored layers are filled in between with vanilla buttercream and then the cake is frosted with the same vanilla buttercream. Scrumptious.
