Vintage Look Kitchen With Hidden Modern Conveniences

Don’t you just love the look of the kitchen? I do, it looks like a kitchen my grandmother or even great grandmother might have had. I absolutely love the iron pans hanging on the wall. If you like the look of an old fashioned kitchen but the convenience of a microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker you should check out all of the pictures in this article. You will find loads of ideas to help you get this look into your kitchen. The Country Farm Home shares her great kitchen with its secrets like, she has used Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup jars for dish and hand soap.

This kitchen makes me think of simpler times when the women didn’t rush off to work in the morning but were home working around the place, making home made bread and setting homemade pies on the window sill to cool. Kids ran through all the yards together and every mom was all of their moms. Neighbors would lend a hand and watch all the kids so it felt safe and we could let out kids run the neighborhood. There were no fences around every backyard because the kids played in all of them. I know we can’t bring all of that back but it would be nice to have coffee in this kitchen and pretend every morning for a few minutes.
