This burning log Jack o Lantern Halloween DIY Project is a holiday themed adaption of a Swedish log rocket stove. This is used to cook food upon in a cast iron skillet while log is on fire. But is this case, just having some holiday fun in a supervised manner.

This would be a really fun project for a camping trip or around a bonfire.

Supplies and Tools:

Log round

Assorted Spade Bits/Drill bits (1-1/2″minimum largest bit,) 12′ bit extension

Power corded drill, Battery may work but depending on the size of you round, you may find the battery might not cut it…

Dremel Oscillating Tool with wood saw blade

Marker(Sharpie- personal favorite)

Ruler

Printed Jack-O-Lantern Face or custom design

Tape

Matches/Lighter

Fire starter/kindling

Fire extinguisher/Hose, etc

A little bit of effort, can create a humorous campfire companion burning log.
