When you have soup in a bread bowl which is absolutely delicious and if you have never tried it you should check it out because you are missing out. My favorite is broccoli cheddar soup in the bread bowl. The only thing about soup in a bread bowl that is not always good is that there is a lot of bread and between the bowl and the soup its pretty much a meal (with a lot of bread).
It seems I am not the only one that feels this way, Sugar Dish Me figured out a way to solve the problem. She makes bread cups instead of bowls so she can have just a cup of soup in a bread cup. I love this idea because now you can have your soup in a bread cup and still have room for some roasted vegetables or a nice salad along with your soup.
This is a better way to have your soup and bread because you can add those needed veggies to balance out the meal.
