Homemade Creamed Corn

Here is a great way to make your own creamed corn any time of the year. The recipe is a great one for big crowds and holidays because you can make it and then put it in the crock pot to keep it warm until everyone has eaten. Unlike most recipes fr creamed corn you don’t need to start with corn on the cob.

You could if you wished but this recipe calls for frozen corn kernels. I love creamed corn made with this recipe because it is not all watery like the canned or even sometimes the homemade creamed corn. Because you are not scraping the milky water out of the cob to add to the creamed corn it doesn’t have as much liquid. Fabulessly Frugal shares the recipe to make this delicious creamed corn right in your kitchen.

It has heavy cream and some Parmesan cheese and you use just a little flour to thicken the liquids so it won’t run into your gravy or get your dinner roll all soggy. I love that you can buy frozen corn and make this since that way you can make it any time and not just in the summer when fresh corn is available.
